After seven years with the same employer I felt like I wasn't fulfilling my potential and that my career was going nowhere. Since joining I've been supported to study for my certification which now means that I can move into technical architecture - which is exactly what I want to do.

I’m now working in a small team on a high profile government project involving online verification of identities. It's a hot topic but it's certainly one which is interesting and challenging - particularly as we have to adhere to strict controls laid down by the client so we have chosen to use Open Source software as it meets the stringent requirements. The ultimate objective is an authentication service to Dutch governmental organizations that will enable citizens and companies to do business with the government online without any paperwork.
It's high profile, newsworthy and sometimes controversial projects such as these that raise the Atos Origin profile and put the expertise of our people on the map! It's great to be involved.
