Daniel Torres
Integration Manager, Beijing 2008 Olympic Summer Games


Daniel Torres is Systems Integration Manager for Atos Origin, working with the Beijing Organizing Committee (BOCOG) for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. As Integration Manager, he is responsible for the planning, integration testing and deployment of the different software components received from the technology providers in order to deliver the IT solution for the 2008 Olympic Games.

Prior to starting the Beijing 2008 project, he held several project management positions in Salt Lake City 2002, Athens 2004 and Turin 2006 Olympic Games Projects. He also worked in other international IT projects in Asia and Africa. 

Daniel is a computer engineer of the Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya, Barcelona, and holds an Executive MBA from Instituto de Empresa, Madrid.
