Technical Service & IT Security Manager, Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games
Massimo Dossetto is the Technical Service and IT Security Manager for Atos Origin at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games. He leads the Technical Services and IT Security Team, responsible for defining and implementing the Systems, Network and IT Security Architecture. This includes: defining the IT standards, implementing IT Security best practices, defining and executing technical testing activities, and providing the best technical services to the rest of the Integration Team.
Before joining the Vancouver team, Massimo Dossetto was IT Security Architect for Atos Origin at the Torino 2006 Olympic Winter Games. He was responsible for the design, IT risks evaluation, and IT security tools and technologies, with the objective of optimizing the security for the Winter Olympic Games whole IT infrastructure. He was part of the Operations Crew in Athens 2004 for the Summer Olympic Games as Security Duty Manager.
Massimo benefits from his experience in the IT Security arena and an in-depth technical expertise in Microsoft technologies and Networking.
Prior to his involvement within the Torino Olympic Games Project, Massimo worked as IT Security Manager in the Pont Saint Martin (Italy) Customer Data Center and as Security and Networking Senior Consultant at SchlumbergerSema. He was previously a Technical Project Manager in charge of the design, implementation and integration of all IT services into the new worldwide corporate network in Italy.
Massimo has a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology and a number of specialised IT related diplomas.
