Operations Manager, Beijing 2008 Olympic Summer Games
Michele Hyron is Atos Origin Operations Manager for the Summer Olympic Games in Beijing. Her responsibilities include staff planning for 400 Atos Origin IT professionals and thousands of technology volunteers, management and coordination of all IT operational activities including venue planning and operations, systems implementation, helpdesk operations and training.
Michele has been involved in the Olympic Games project with Major Events since 1999. Prior to arriving in Beijing, she was Systems Integration manager for the Athens 2004 Olympic Summer Games where she was responsible for exhaustive integration testing of the key Games IT systems. Previously, Michele served as Project Manager for Atos Origin Energy Division in Grenoble, France. She was part of the team who delivered the world’s first computerized nuclear plant control system. Michele graduated from Ecole Polytechnique Feminine in France with a degree in Computer Science.
