Process Monitoring
Atos Origin delivers more than 300 systems in the field of energy at 100 sites. These systems, including SCADA systems, are customized for the operators with the specific features of each nuclear plant's operating situation. They process the input from thousands of sensors to synthesize real-time data and displays required to operate the plant safely and reliably. Atos Origin offers additional high-level functions tied to safety-oriented control commands.
Full-computerized control
To continuously increase the safety of these critical systems, Atos Origin developed the N4 Monitoring and Control System in partnership with EDF. This is a major technological breakthrough in the power industry. It introduces full computer-aided control into 1,450 MW NPP and also introduces a new generation of computer-oriented nuclear operating methods.
