Community Involvement
Atos Origin continues to encourage its employees to contribute to support local communities through volunteer work, donations, partnership with humanitarian organizations.
Here you can find an overview of some of the initiatives where Atos Origin employees express themselves through local initiatives that touch the surrounding community:

In the Netherlands, Atos Origin continues to support Right to Play by setting up and running a key database. This links our role in providing IT services to the Olympic Games with supporting an internationally recognized NGO that is committed to improving the lives of children and their communities affected by conflict, poverty and disease by using the best values of sport into opportunities to promote development, health and peace. Right to Play evolved from the Olympic Aid program and was founded by four-time Olympic gold medalist, Johan Olav Koss. Furthermore, Atos Origin’s employees in the Netherlands have supported its “Third World Fund” (Third World Fund) for over 25 years.

In Frankfurt - Germany, Atos Worldline supports the Monikahaus orphanage.

In the United Kingdom, employees give their time on a regular basis to mentor individuals in the community.

In France, Atos Origin is a long-standing partner to France’s Muscular Dystrophy Association (AFM).

In Asia, when the May 2008 earthquakes left millions homeless, Atos Origin staff from China, Hong Kong and Singapore donated cash to the relief effort. Similarly, each of these offices strengthens ties with the communities regularly. Atos Origin in Singapore supports Food from the Heart (FFTH). In Malaysia, the staff contributes to provide shelter, education and care for the underprivileged. Since July 2005, Atos Origin in Hong Kong has partnered with the Hong Kong Children and Youth Services (HKCYS) to provide voluntary services to the less fortunate children from the Small Group Home, a member of the HKCYS. As a result of this work the company has been recognized as one of the most “Caring Companies” in Hong Kong, a scheme established by the HK Government with the mission to build a caring community spirit through cultivating corporate citizenship and strategic partnership among the business, public and social service sectors.

In Brazil, Atos Origin has been developing several aid programs, among them actions to assist the occupants of a slum located close to the company, and in India, Atos Origin supports four non-governmental organizations in Mumbai, providing food, books, blankets, toys, etc., to the homeless, blind, orphans and street children. This has wide and varied experience in disaster relief work ranging from 1934 Bihar earthquake to 1999 super cyclone in Orissa, 2001 Gujarat earthquake, 2004 tsunami in coastal areas of Andaman & Nicobar, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu & Kerala and Jammu & Kashmir earthquake in 2005.

They are just some of the many Group employees worldwide who, through their individual commitment, bring Atos Origin's sustainable development approach to life.
