She won the Bronze medal at the Athens 2004 Olympic Games after a nail-biting day of competition, where she fought her way from her position in the bottom 2 after the first discipline and up through a field of more than 30 athletes during the next 4 competitions - despite having a hairline fracture in her ankle. This spirited and determined performance is typical of Georgina, who never gives up and is renowned for her positive attitude.
