The Adaptive Workplace
The Adaptive Workplace is recognized by Microsoft as one of the best solution for Workplace Management, both for OS migration and full outsourcing. Impress Solution
Atos Origin has more than 10 years experience in professionalizing software development by implementing so-called software factories. These factories are characterized by the perfect balance between people, processes, organization and tools. In 1999 this concept was put into practice in a service called “Impress” that allowed customers and partners of Atos Origin to achieve the same professionalism in their own IT departments. Since then several implementations of “Impress” have become active with different technologies such as .NET.
Since the very beginning of Visual Studio Team System (VSTS), Atos Origin recognized its strategic value for a next level of Impress, because VSTS aims towards maximizing collaboration, automating development and enacting engineering processes within one environment - exactly the same values as “Impress”. After two years of collaboration with the development teams of Microsoft, and building on the extensive service experience of “Impress”, the new service “Impress for VSTS” is now on the market and implemented with increasing success at different locations, including Atos Origin’s own software factories.

BPOS – Business Productivity Online Services
Atos Origin has an agreement with Microsoft to be a global reseller of the dedicated version of the Microsoft Business Productivity Online Suite. Atos Origin will integrate Microsoft’s Business Productivity Online Suite for current and future customers and can now manage the full spectrum of IT delivery models including external cloud services and SaaS related activites.
By providing this suite, which currently consists of Microsoft Exchange (email & Calendaring), Sharepoint (Document Management, Workflow and Collaboration), Office Communications Server (Instant Messaging & Presence) and Live Meeting (Web Conferencing), Atos Origin will be able to provide customers with a choice on how to use and manage software and they will get the benefit of specific tailored business services based on a low cost commodity platform without any SaaS related risks.
